JLPT Tutor Online
Specialist tutors for every JLPT level — from N5 beginner to N1 advanced. The JLPT is administered by the Japan Foundation twice a year and is the universally accepted standard for Japanese proficiency in visa applications, university admissions, and Japanese workplaces.
3 Tested Sections
Language Knowledge
Vocabulary and kanji at lower levels; combined vocabulary, grammar, and kanji at N3–N1. Tests word formation, reading of kanji in context, and grammatical structure recognition.
Reading
Short texts, medium passages, and long-form articles increasing in complexity from N5 to N1. Skills tested: main idea, inference, information retrieval, and discourse structure at higher levels.
Listening
Task-based listening (mondai) across four problem types. N1 uses rapid natural speech with implicit meaning and overlapping speakers. N5 uses slow, clear utterances in simple situations.
