In 3 months of serious, consistent study, you can reach HSK 1–2 level. That's meaningful progress — enough for real interactions — but it's not fluency. Chinese is classified by the US Foreign Service Institute as a Category IV language (the hardest tier), requiring 2,200+ hours for professional proficiency.
Here's what 3 months of dedicated study realistically gets you:
