What Members Say
“I was terrified to speak Mandarin outside of my 1-on-1 lessons. The Beginner Circle gave me a safe space to make mistakes in front of other learners. After six weeks I stopped freezing up entirely.”
“The Intermediate Debates are genuinely fun. Arguing about whether remote work is good for society — in Japanese — felt impossible three months ago. Now it's the highlight of my week.”
“I moved to Barcelona for work and needed to get fluent fast. Between my private lessons and the Advanced Discussion club, I went from B2 to C1 in four months. My colleagues noticed.”

Frequently Asked Questions
How many people are in each session?
Groups are capped at 6 learners, and most sessions run with 3–5. Small groups mean more speaking time per person — typically 8–12 minutes of active speaking in a 45-minute session.
What if my level is between two tiers?
Join the lower tier first. After your second session the teacher will leave a note on your profile, and our team will move you up if the intermediate or advanced format suits you better. You can also request a level change at any time.
Are Speaking Club sessions free?
Members with an active lesson subscription (any plan) get two free Speaking Club sessions per month. Additional sessions are $6 each. You can also purchase a Club-only pass of 8 sessions for $39.
What if I need to cancel last minute?
Cancel up to 2 hours before the session for a full credit. Late cancellations (under 2 hours) are non-refundable but your spot counts as attended so the teacher is still compensated.
Ready to start speaking?
