Frequently asked questions
How are tutors vetted?
Every application is read before a teacher can be booked. Applications with an intro video go to a person, who watches it before approving; text-only applications are screened by an automated content check, and one approved by that check never carries the Verified badge — that badge is granted only by a Unox admin, one teacher at a time. An application to teach AI skills always goes to a person, with or without a video. We don't collect identity documents or diplomas, so judge a teacher by their profile and by a first lesson — no teacher has been reviewed yet, so there are no reviews to weigh.
What is the cancellation policy?
More than 24 hours before the lesson: full refund. Between 12 and 24 hours: 50% refunded. Less than 12 hours: no refund. A lesson paid from your wallet balance comes back in full any time up to 12 hours before. If your teacher cancels, you are refunded in full whatever the notice.
Can I reschedule a lesson?
Yes. Open your upcoming lessons dashboard, click Reschedule, and choose a new slot from your tutor's live calendar. Rescheduling is free however close to the lesson you do it — there is no notice window and no fee.
Do you offer group lessons or only 1-on-1?
Lessons on Unox are 1-on-1. Group classes are not offered right now.
Is there a trial lesson?
Only if the teacher offers one. A trial is 25 minutes at a price the teacher sets themselves — there is no platform trial price — and a teacher who has not set one does not offer a trial at all. No teacher on Unox has set a trial price today, so there is no trial to book right now; lessons are at each teacher's normal rate, shown on their profile and again on the booking screen before you pay.
