Key Talking Points
- Still being built — the teacher roster is open, and teachers apply directly at unox.chat/become-a-tutor, setting their own rate and their own hours.
- Expert-vetted teachers only — every instructor is reviewed before going live on the platform.
- Teacher-set pricing — every teacher publishes their own rate on their profile, so students see the number before they choose.
- Post-lesson notes included — teachers send structured notes after every session.
- Right now Unox takes no payments, and paid lessons are paused.
What Makes Unox Different
Unox is a curated language teacher marketplace built around quality over quantity — every teacher on the platform passes a vetting process before they are listed. Unlike broad-language platforms with hundreds of languages and inconsistent quality, Unox is still being built and adds one language at a time: Chinese (Mandarin) is the only language with teachers today, and the application form is open to teachers of six languages. Every lesson is paired with post-session notes so students can review what they learned. Right now Unox takes no payments, and paid lessons are paused.
