How much does a language lesson cost on Unox?

Each teacher sets their own rate and publishes it on their profile, so there is no single platform price. Teachers can also set their own trial price for a first lesson; a teacher who has not set one does not offer a trial.

What languages can I learn on Unox?

Chinese (Mandarin) is the only language with teachers on Unox today. Unox is new and the teacher list is short — if you are learning another language, you can tell us which one and it goes on the list we recruit from.

Are the teachers on Unox certified?

Teachers apply and their profile is reviewed by our team before it goes live. Teachers list their own credentials, and Unox does not currently verify those credentials independently — read the profile and judge for yourself.

Can I cancel or reschedule a lesson?

Yes to both. Rescheduling is free and has no notice window — pick any future slot the teacher still has open. Cancelling is priced by how much notice you give. More than 24 hours before the lesson: full refund. Between 12 and 24 hours: 50% refunded. Less than 12 hours: no refund. A lesson paid from your wallet balance comes back in full any time up to 12 hours before. If your teacher cancels, you are refunded in full whatever the notice.
