Every application is screened before a tutor can be booked, and a person reviews any application that includes an intro video — reading the written bio and years of experience the tutor states, and watching the video. No certificate or diploma is collected, so none is checked. A text-only application can be approved on an automated content check alone, and one approved that way never carries the Verified badge, which only a Unox admin grants. We do not run criminal background checks or collect identity documents. You can see each tutor's verification badge and reviews on their profile, sit in on any lesson, and follow your child's progress from the parent dashboard.
Can my child learn a language online even if they are shy?
Yes — many shy children actually thrive in 1-on-1 online sessions because they feel less exposed than in a classroom. A patient, experienced kids tutor builds rapport gradually through games, stories, and gentle encouragement before expecting the child to speak freely.
