Unox is a community-driven platform, built as a public good. Our mission is simple: connect teachers and students from every corner of the world, and make language learning accessible to anyone with the desire to grow.
We are a group of language lovers who believe language bridges people. We built Unox not to extract profit from the middle, but to create the most direct path between a learner and the right teacher — powered by daily practice and real human connection.

Who's behind Unox
Unox is built by a small team of women — all of us studied abroad. We've each felt what makes language learning expensive or out of reach. We're keeping this platform affordable for both teachers and students, so the people doing the actual work keep more of the value, and learners spend less to make real progress.

Studied in the US, finance background. Built Unox after years of watching the gap between what tutors are paid and what learners actually need to make progress — and being on both sides herself.

Independent and self-funded. We're keeping the team small on purpose so the price stays honest — most learning platforms grow staff faster than learners, and the price reflects it.
Our Philosophy
Tools can summarize, automate, and translate. But trust, nuance, cultural fluency, and real conversation still belong to people. Unox exists to help learners build that advantage.
